Governing law

State of Montana

§01

Overview

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains how refunds work for paid Slurp listing packages, including Slurp Shake and Slurp Sundae upgrades, and related one-time digital purchases (collectively, “Purchases”) processed through Stripe. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

Slurp sells one-time listing upgrades and related digital services. There is no subscription. Free Sip listings do not require payment. By completing a Purchase, you request immediate commencement of listing fulfillment where applicable.

§02

Digital Delivery and Statutory Rights

Listing package fulfillment begins upon successful payment and, where applicable, upon activation of paid listing features. Because listing upgrades are digital services rendered for your benefit, refunds are generally not available once paid features have been activated, except where required by applicable law or where Slurp fails to deliver the purchased package due to a technical issue attributable to us.

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that provides mandatory withdrawal or refund rights, those rights apply to the extent required by law.

Where permitted by law and presented at checkout, you may be asked to acknowledge that digital service delivery begins immediately upon payment and that you waive statutory withdrawal rights once paid listing features are activated.

§03

When Refunds May Be Approved

We may approve a refund, credit, or entitlement restoration when:

  • Slurp experiences a technical failure attributable to us that prevents activation of the purchased listing package after reasonable troubleshooting
  • You were charged in error, including duplicate charges, incorrect product mapping, or upgrade pricing errors verified by our records and Stripe
  • Your Listing was rejected solely due to a Slurp processing error and paid features could not be applied to any eligible Listing
  • Applicable law requires a refund notwithstanding this Policy
  • We determine, in our sole discretion, that a goodwill resolution is appropriate for a documented service defect
§04

When Refunds Are Generally Not Available

Refunds are generally not available when:

  • Paid listing features have been activated for your Listing
  • Your Listing has entered Moderation, been approved, scheduled, or published
  • You disagree with an editorial Moderation decision, launch timing, or placement outcome
  • You did not receive expected traffic, votes, newsletter inclusion, or commercial results
  • Your Listing was rejected or removed for Content Policy or Terms violations
  • Delivery failed due to your email provider, spam filtering, or inbox access issues we cannot control
  • You initiated a chargeback without first contacting support
§05

Activation and Fulfillment Timing

Listing package activation may occur upon successful payment and association with a Listing record. If activation fails due to a Slurp technical issue, contact support with your Stripe receipt reference. We will restore access, re-apply entitlements, or issue a refund where appropriate after verification.

§06

Access After Refunds

Approved refunds revoke the associated Listing Entitlement. Paid profile features, priority review flags, and related upgrade benefits end when the refund is processed. Your Listing may revert to Free Sip tier or be removed if no valid tier remains. Residual copies in backups may persist for a limited period consistent with our Privacy Policy.

§07

Chargebacks, Disputes, and Fraud

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend related entitlements and Listings while the dispute is reviewed. Contact support first. Most billing issues can be resolved faster than a dispute.

We reserve the right to decline future Purchases and terminate access for abusive chargeback patterns, payment fraud, or misrepresentation.

§08

Upgrades and Partial Purchases

If you upgrade from Slurp Shake to Slurp Sundae, the upgrade price reflects entitlements already purchased as described at checkout. Refunds for upgrade Purchases follow the same principles in this Policy and are evaluated based on features activated after the upgrade transaction.

§09

How to Request a Refund Review

Submit requests through our contact formand select “Refund question.” Include:

  • Your account email or purchase email
  • Stripe receipt or payment reference
  • Listing name, URL, or submission reference
  • Description of the billing or fulfillment issue

Support cannot process refunds through public chat. We aim to review good-faith requests within five (5) business days, though complex cases may take longer.

§10

Currency and Payment Method

Refunds, when approved, are issued to the original payment method through Stripe in the currency charged at checkout, subject to processor rules and banking timelines. We do not control issuer posting delays.

§11

Policy Limitations

EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, THIS POLICY SETS FORTH THE EXCLUSIVE REFUND REMEDIES AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLURP'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY PURCHASE IS LIMITED AS DESCRIBED IN OUR TERMS OF SERVICE.
§12

Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Changes apply to future Purchases unless otherwise required by law.
